***Rotation: One week day (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) and second week evening (3:30 pm to midnight) From Monday to Friday.**
Gentek is a leading manufacturer and distributor of vinyl / aluminum siding products, windows and other building products. With 3 manufacturing plants and 23 distribution centers in Canada, we are well positioned to provide our customers with the best products and a superior customer service experience.
Located in Montreal West Island, in Pointe-Claire, our factory is looking for* _Packers_* to join our amazing team. Relevant experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment and in standard forklift driving is an important asset. Permanent full-time position, unionized. **Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Work in collaboration with an operator;
- Pack the products in their boxes;
- Make sure that the products are packaged correctly;
- Respect the health and safety standards in force;
- Perform various production-related tasks as required.
**Qualifications**
- Master French. English is an asset
- Be able to work in rotation on shifts: day and evening and night;
- Punctual, reliable and professional;
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Be aware of the importance of following the Health and Safety rules;
- Have a positive and determined attitude.
**Working for Gentek is**:
- Have a permanent, full-time and stable position with the possibility of advancement;
- Have group insurance paid 100% by the employer after 1 month of service;
- Pension plan with employer's contribution;
- Paid personal days and paid Christmas holidays (from December 24 to January 2);
- Starting salary is from** $20.56 to $22.84$** per hour**;**:
- Evening premium**:$ 0.85 / hour;**:
- Night premium**: $ 1.5 /hour**:
- Schedule: Variable weekly Rotation mandatory: day, evening, night. The same shift is scheduled for the entire week. from Monday to Friday.
