HR Recruiter

We are Creative Outdoor Advertising, a North American Canadian-based advertising company. We have been selling advertising space on benches, recycling units, and bus shelters since 1984. We are looking for an energetic and organized HR Recruiter on a 1-year contract to join our team In this role, you will coordinate all employment opportunity aspects.

**Compensation, Schedule, and Position Details**:
This is a 1-year contract position with an annual salary of $45,000 and working hours of Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

This position will start as on-site at our offices in Gormley, Ontario, you will need to drive as we are not on a transit line, but we do offer free parking. Over time this position can be work-from-home in a hybrid capacity. For this, you must have a secure high-speed internet connection and a quiet office space free from interruptions.

**Responsibilities**:Posting, responding to, following up, and scheduling interviews for all available employment opportunities at Creative Outdoor Advertising:

- Edit and proof job postings to appeal to applicants while maintaining the accuracy of work expectation
- Placing employment postings in a timely manner on all popular job boards, like Indeed, CraigsList, Kijiji, LocalWorks, Government of Canada Job Bank, and local job boards like colleges and universities
- Updating employment postings including job details, verbiage, images, or other changes as required
- Keeping a detailed record of all employment opportunity purchase receipts
- Perform screening phone call interviews in a timely, courteous, professional, and efficient manner
- Keeping detailed notes, spreadsheets, and analytics of all recruitment actions and communications
- Assisting with other administrative and human resource duties as needed
- Advanced (above average) MS Office skills including Microsoft Teams; Word, Excel, Outlook, web-based technologies, Google Suite. Advanced knowledge of Indeed and other popular job boards
- Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, must love talking on the phone and be a great communicator, a social and outgoing person
- Has 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment with a reputation for exceeding hiring expectations
- Good at multi-tasking and managing multiple requests, like hiring for various different positions at once
- University Degree and/or College Diploma in Human Resources, having or working towards CHRP certification (Certified Human Resource Professional) would be an asset
- Self-starter who is independently motivated but also very good at collaborating in a team
- Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills
- Enjoy repetitive tasks and being on the phone a lot
- Able to learn quickly and take direction easily
