**SCOPE OF THE POSITION**:
The Product Development Trial Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Product Development department by codifying and clarifying existing processes flows and protocols for trials (saleable and non saleable) as well as organizing, preparing documentation, coordinating, attending and reporting results for trials.

**THE MANDATE**:

- With direction, codify and clarify trial flow and protocols.
- Organize PD trials by scheduling meetings, outlining trial design, preparing production and trial documentation and coordinating ingredients/packaging.
- Coordinate timing and requirements with customer and/or co-manufacturer and wider Skjodt-Barrett team such as scheduling, sales, production and PD (Regulatory, Stage Gate, and Innovation) and others as required.
- Observe and collect data from trials for analysis and recommendations (corrections, improvements or additional options).
- Summarize and analyse data in written reports and documents to be share cross-functionally and with business partners.
- Using existing templates and input from wider team to prepare cost quotes for trials.

**THE CANDIDATE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related education
- Ideally 1-3 years prior experience within the food industry with some exposure to the New Product Development Process or Relevant Co-Op Experience.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
- Self starter who enjoys taking initiative and solving problems
- Ability to manage and organize multiple concurrent projects
- Passionate about continuous learning
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and comfort learning new systems
