**About** Us**:
**What You’ll Do**:
The Metrology Technical Specialist will assist production and R&D with process development analysis using optical microscopy, atomic force microscopy, optical spectrum analysis and other testing methods leading to identification of a product’s strengths and weakness. Based on their experience, they will make recommendations for improvement to the production and R&D teams.

**Some of the typical responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing samples for those tests as well as for customer review.
- Research, recommend and commissioning of new metrology equipment.
- Reports will be clearly organized with pictorial, graphical and written commentary which plainly support the thought process of the analysis used to arrive at the conclusions and recommendations.
- Working with suppliers to understand how their products could meet our needs.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelors of Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- 3 years’ experience in a production or product/process development environment.
- Enjoys working with their hands to make beautiful samples with fine features.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks.
- Enjoys working with a multi-disciplinary team.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in characterization and metrology, development of QC protocols.
- French language fluency.
