Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

Ancaster, Canada Oral Surgery Clinic Full time

We are looking to hire dental assistants for our busy oral surgery practices located in Ancaster and Hamilton. The office hours are Monday through Friday and shifts ranges between 7am to 5pm (6-8 hour daily shift) depending on the patient schedule. Our office is closed on weekends.

As an oral surgeon's assistant, your duties will range:

- preparing work stations
- taking periapical and panoramic x-rays
- ensure that surgical tools are properly cleaned and sterilized before procedures begin
- receiving patients, preparing charts, and beginning patient preparation
- educating patients about pre and post-operative dental care.
- work side-by-side with the surgeon during a variety of procedures

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
All doctors, staff and patients are screened daily, including temperature checks. PPE requirements as per the RCDSO regulations are being followed diligently. Infection control practices and social distancing protocols are in place.

Work Location: One location
