**Work Arrangement**:Onsite

**Work Location**:90 Belfield road, Etobicoke M9W 1G4

**Shifts Available**:Day shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3pm)

**As a Machine Operator, you will**:

- Set up, adjust and operate CNC machines (TC5000, Laser, Brake Press, Form Brake etc.) according to work orders and specifications with minor programming
- Use manual pump trucks, cranes (overhead / jib) and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s)
- Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with quality standards, target plans and verify correct run quantities
- Visually inspect parts after each machine cycle and perform inspections as required
- Optimize the running of parts to best take advantage of the machine’s operating time
- Filling out production boards with output for the shift as well as assisting in planning afternoon shift production
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices

**Who are we looking for? Someone who has**:

- High school diploma
- Minimum 3 months experience as a CNC Machine Operator
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, go no-go gauges, etc.
- Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with mínimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to lift up to 22 lbs.
