**The Role**:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Business Operations, the Business Operations Process Specialist is responsible for taking ownership over the tracking and processing of system information such as contracts, claims loss activity and financial transactions, collecting and compiling information for reporting and distribution purposes, responding to internal and external requests for assistance and coordination and administrative functions supporting day-to-day operations and essential business processes. Additionally, the Business Operations Process Specialist should demonstrate a proficient ability to identify opportunities within current state processes and opportunities to improve, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Follow a process-driven approach to compile information from various sources to populate key reports and tools for distribution internally and to business partners providing business insights and helping drive business decisions
- Provide support to and liaise with internal and external work partners providing an important level of customer services through the accurate and timely fulfillment of requests
- Provide continuous improvement ideas to support the evolution of essential business processes and the development of risk controls and workflows to improve service delivery
- Responsible for learning and effectively executing various tasks within the Business Operations team to support peers during high volume periods and for business continuity purposes

**Your Skills and Qualifications**:

- You have post secondary education with 3 years experience in a process-oriented role or relevant experience
- You have strong interpersonal skills with an enthusiasm for building relationships and a demonstrated ability to showcase leadership within your peer group
- You are a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills, able to analyze complex situations and make well-informed decisions to overcome challenges and achieve objectives
- You have strong attention to detail and are highly organized
- You have the ability to prioritize to meet timelines and demonstrate flexibility to adapt
- Proficient in navigating various software and tools and have a strong capability of identifying opportunities to leverage them to streamline processes, enhance efficiencies and drive strategic initiatives forward
