**Full-Time Accreditation Coordinator**

In support of CCD’s Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Direction, the Accreditation Coordinator will provide administration and project support to the Administrative Team to support the accreditation project within Community Care Durham. The Accreditation Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating project tasks, ensuring compliance with the accreditation body, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, compiling documents and data, and performing other administrative tasks. The Accreditation Coordinator will report to the Vice President of Quality, Clinical Standards and Client Support Services providing administrative support to the Vice President’s portfolio.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Complying with accreditation standards, policies and procedures;
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders within the defined scope of the role and providing guidance and responding to inquiries as necessary;
- Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, compiling and creating documents, etc.,
- Developing and maintain policies, procedures and documentation to support compliance standards;
- Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all accreditation related materials;
- Acting as a point of contact for the accreditation body and internal and external stakeholders;
- Developing and overseeing the implementation of action plans to address areas of non-compliance or improvement, etc.,
- Performing other tasks as required.

**Qualifications required**:

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Executive Administration, Healthcare Administration, etc.,
- Previous experience in accreditation coordination, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, etc.,
- Strong understanding of accreditation standards best practices;
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and in a group setting;
- Demonstrated experience coordinating project tasks and liaising with stakeholders;
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check or Enhance Police Information Check;
- Sensitivity to adults with needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health;
- Must work in a safe manner and promote the health and safety of all staff, volunteers, clients and the community as outlined within CCD policies.

**Compensation**:Starting at $55,000 annually; three (3) weeks’ vacation per year of work (pro-rated to hours worked); 9 paid (including stat) holidays; health, insurance and pension benefits when eligible.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
