**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead Noramco’s Commercial & Industrial, OEM, Utilities and Telecom Sales to ensure sales and margin targets are met; and work strategically, collaboratively and cooperatively with these department heads to ensure best in class service and support from Winnipeg’s Business Centre (Operationally & Administratively);
- Proactively work with and support NCS International’s Warehouse and Administrative personnel to ensure productivity, KPIs and forecasted targets are met;
- P&L Management to ensure the Winnipeg Business Centre is performing at forecasted targets;
**Duties**
- Ensure all job functions are performed in accordance to the NCS International Standard Practice Instruction (SPI) Manual;
- Manage the Winnipeg Operations that supports all Sales businesses.
- Responsible for the Winnipeg Branch P&L;
- Responsible for a team of 6 (3 Operation employees, 1 Administrative employee, and 2 Sales employees);
- Provide leadership and sales support to ensure sales and margin targets are met;
- Develop meaningful strategies for key customers;
- Work strategically and cooperatively with National Telecom, OEM and Utility Sales Operations Managers;
- Deal with every escalated customer complaint in an expedient manner and ensure they are satisfied with our resolve;
- Identify and help develop internal/external opportunities to further enable profitable sales growth of the department. Opportunities include but are not limited to product, customer, processes, resources, equipment, etc.;
- Assist in building strong customer relationships with senior management at key customer accounts;
- Build strong vendor relationships;
- Manage all Winnipeg branch inventory purchases;
- Provide direction to Warehouse and staff in order to optimize operational efficiencies;
- Ensure all Winnipeg branch employees have the tools and support necessary to do their job functions effectively;
- Coordinate and assist, when necessary, the various functions in office sales, operations and administration, including but not limited to:
- Provide pricing quotations to customers and following-up;
- Enter customer orders;
- Receive material and picking/shipping customer orders;
- Create, Implement, track and communicate KPIs for Winnipeg branch employees;
- Stay informed of sales objectives, targeted product lines, required market-intel, vendor objectives, and competitor activities and actively promote new knowledge to immediate director reports, manager teammates as deemed necessary;
- Maintain a system of effective communication between Sales, Purchasing and Administration so that all parties are regularly updated with capacity challenges and service issues;
- Participate in the execution of inventory cycle counts as required;
- Identify and implement strategies that will reduce operating costs;
- Manage freight costs for inbound & outbound shipments for the Manitoba business;
- Continuously develop knowledge of product to remain up-to-date with various product lines (including vendor training) and industry changes;
- Complete documentation and participate in Noramco annual forecast meetings;
- Keep open line of communication with General Manager on all significant successes and challenges;
- Perform any other duties as required by Corporate.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum five (5) years of industry experience preferable, or a combination of relevant experience and education
- Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management
- Solid understanding of financial management
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships among managers, employees, and partners
- Ability to address problems and opportunities for the company
- Capability to organize his work with a minimum of supervision
- Energetic and positive attitude, dependable, organized and deadline oriented
- Stress tolerance
- Advanced computer skills and knowledge
