Front Desk Receptionist

Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, direct calls to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area as well as keeping the office functional neat and clean and presentable to public and clients coming in
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient office operations
- Follow company policies and procedures for all tasks involved including advertising and social media presence
- Confidentiality is of utmost importance
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
- Computer experience a benefit but training would be provided on all software programs used to run the day to day activities for the office
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months
**Salary**: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
