**Project Specialist**

Reporting to the General Manager of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, the Project Specialist contributes to the development and growth of the Centre for Entrepreneurship by being the lead for our website and social media channels. The Project Specialist contributes to our team through being a key player in Centre events and programming.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:
**Marketing and Outreach Support**
- ** **Responsible for the creation and execution of the Centre’s social media and marketing plans.
- Responsible for content curation and creation.
- Marketing and promoting the Centre for Entrepreneurship and its various Micro-Centres through various digital channels.
- Responsible for increasing the social media presence of the Centre, while translating this growth into participation in Centre events.
- Develop social media content for all Micro-Centres and the Centre for Entrepreneurship.
- Management of the Centre’s website.
- Performing outreach activities to promote and engage with members of the Mohawk, and Hamilton/Halton community.
- Ensure content is written to the appropriate audience communication best practices that represent The Centre of Entrepreneurship and its Micro-Centres appropriately.

**Event Management and Office Administration**
- ** **Researching processes, methodology, tools, and best practices to support the growth of entrepreneurship activities, programming and curriculum created through the Centre for Entrepreneurship and its Micro-Centres.
- Supports events and programming through being a lead on event registration, internal and external logistics, and event support.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
The successful applicant must have:

- A 3 year degree or diploma.
- Social media and website management experience.
- Experience either as an entrepreneur, or, working with entrepreneurs.
- A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail; superior time management and organization skills.
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of human rights, equity, diversity and inclusion with the ability to communicate and work effectively inter-culturally with diverse groups of students, employees and the community.
