Demos by Design is a food services company that is passionate about helping organic and natural food brands increase awareness and sales. Our mission is to promote and partner with brands that are committed to creating delicious and health-conscious food and equally focus on strong social awareness.
We are currently recruiting for the role of Brand Ambassadors in Vancouver and Vancouver Island who are passionate about local and natural food to help promote our brands in retail store locations. As a Brand Ambassadors you are a foodie and committed to health and wellness. Not only are you passionate about local brands and their history, but you are also a superb in-store marketer and a results-oriented sales-person.

Help us drive awareness of amazing brands through in-store retail sampling demos, strategic local events, social media initiatives and create personal connections with consumers.
**Brand Ambassador Job Description**:
- Can work in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Devote 2-4 shifts per week to field marketing by executing in store retail demos and consumer events
- Interact with retail employees, store manager engagement, take pictures and social media posts
- Work closely with DBD management to provide creative and strategic input in local events including creative demo display design, messaging, and community building.
- Complete demo reports
- Embrace, understand, and implement Demo by Designs unique strategy and approach to delivering high impact demos and events
- Maintains accuracy of product inventory and tracking
- Valid FoodSafe Certification is required
- Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and reliable automobile is necessary
- Must have a strong understanding and knowledge of all social media platforms.
- Familiarity with MS office
- Must have a smart phone with ability to take/upload/identify photos; Internet access for social networking sites (Facebook, Instagram)
- Strong networking and relationship building skills; energetic, motivated, outgoing, competitive and embraces the brand
- Ability to take direction well and contribute insights and knowledge gained in the field
- Creative, innovative, self-starter
- Multi-tasker who creatively and effectively solves problems
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to engage a crowd with your wit and charm.
- Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends as needed - schedule will vary weekly
- roughly 20hrs/wk.
- Preference will given to local BC residents
We are expanding our team in BC and will be hiring on a rolling basis all year round, for flexible part-time contract positions, with ongoing scheduled shifts, and competitive pay

- Squamish, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
