**JOB SUMMARY**:
The **Sales Account Representative** is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. Reporting to the President, the Sales Account Representative will lead efforts to expand the company’s market presence by researching, prospecting, and developing a pipeline of potential clients, as well as cultivating relationships with existing customers to identify further growth opportunities. This role requires a motivated self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**1. BUSINESS GROWTH & STRATEGY **_(Weighting 30%)_
- Conduct market research to identify potential markets, industries, and segments that align with the company’s product and service offerings.
- Continuously analyze emerging trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for expansion, including setting short-term and long-term business development goals.
- Ensure alignment between business strategies and overall company objectives to drive profitability and scalability.
- Explore new business models, sales channels, and partnerships that align with the company’s vision and can help diversify revenue streams.
- Stay informed of competitors’ strategies, pricing models, and customer preferences. Adjust business strategies accordingly to maintain competitiveness.

**2. CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT **(Weighting 30%)
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business needs, industry, and challenges. Maintain regular communication with key decision-makers to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Regularly engage with clients through presentations, meetings, and reviews to assess their needs and explore new business opportunities.
- Understand client pain points and propose tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements while positioning the company as a strategic partner.
- Gather feedback from clients to ensure services meet their expectations. Address any concerns or issues proactively and work to enhance customer satisfaction.
- **Client Retention and Expansion**_
- Ensure existing clients are satisfied with the company’s services, and regularly follow up to check on their evolving needs. Use client feedback to enhance the service offerings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Develop growth plans for key clients, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Present clients with solutions that can enhance their operations or address additional needs they might have.
- Ensure that client contracts are renewed, and terms are renegotiated in a timely manner, focusing on long-term retention and growth opportunities.
- Serve as the point of escalation for any client issues or service concerns. Work with internal teams to resolve these issues quickly and to the client’s satisfaction.

**3. LEAD GENERATION & SALES**_(Weighting 30%)_
- Develop and deliver customized proposals and presentations that showcase the value proposition of the company’s products or services. Highlight unique selling points and tailor messaging to client needs.
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, focusing on creating mutually beneficial agreements. Handle objections and overcome challenges during the negotiation phase to close deals successfully.
- Identify opportunities to offer additional products or services to existing clients that align with their needs and add value to their business.
- **Reporting & Performance Tracking**_
- Use CRM tools and analytics platforms to monitor the sales pipeline, track the status of leads, and forecast potential revenue. Ensure that all client interactions, deals, and communication are documented and reported.
- Provide detailed performance reports to senior management, highlighting sales results, growth opportunities, and any potential risks. Present data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as conversion rates, client retention, and revenue growth. Adjust business development strategies based on performance metrics to continuously improve outcomes.

**4. NETWORKING & MARKET PRESENCE **_(Weighting 10%)_
- Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events, and industry forums to build the company’s brand presence, establish new contacts, and stay informed about industry trends.
- Forge alliances with other businesses or organizations that align with the company’s goals. Explore partnerships that can drive mutual growth, expand market reach, or enhance product offerings.
- Continuously grow a network of industry contacts, potential partners, and key stakeholders. Use networking opportunities to identify business opportunities and strengthen the company’s position in the market.
