**_Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (KI) is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of _**
**_Nunavik.
- **
Under the supervision of the Director of School Operations, the Coordinator assesses the particular needs of schools
- in terms of school organization and teaching resources.
- **FUNCTION & DUTIES**: Provide ongoing support to school principals;
- ** ** Assist HR in the recruitment of teaching staff;
- Assist in the preparing of the staffing plan;
- Participate in career fairs across Canada, recruiting teaching staff;
- Participate in the planning of annual recruitment week for teachers;
- Prepare school organization grids and give to HR for annual recruitment of teachers;
- Coordinate annual administrator’s meetings;
- Address teacher requests from schools;
- Participate in the distribution of teaching staff, other staff and student ratios;
- Responsible for the management of student records and electronic attendance (DASH);
- Assist schools with purchasing;
- Coordinate tutoring and the reimbursement of school fees;
- Coordinate activities related to the implementation and update of the curriculum;
- Supervise, mentor and manage employees under their responsibility;
- Any other responsibility compatible with his/her function that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
**QUALIFICATIONS**: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum three-year university program or hold asenior executive or senior staff position in a school board for which an undergraduate degree is required under
the minimum qualifications
- Five (5) years relevant experience
- A permanent teaching permit issued by the MEES or a teaching licence recognized under the Education Act for
- Cree, Inuit and Naskapi Native Persons (R.S.Q., c. I-14).
- who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) and who accepts, as a condition of _
- employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board._

**REQUIREMENTS**:
A minimum of three (3) years in Northern educational systems, preferably within the Kativik School Board
- Must be thoroughly familiar with the “Régime Pédagogique” and KSB educational programs
- Experience in recruitment will be an asset
- Fluency in at least two of the working languages of the Board (Inuktitut, French, English)
- Must be prepared for frequent travel throughout Nunavik.
**CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS**:
Class 00-07* as per the working conditions of managers: from $79,447 to $105,927 annually depending on
