**Position and Responsibilities**

Typical duties for this position include:

- Processing payroll and ensuring its accuracy utilizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Maintaining employee master data accurately and in a timely fashion on the HRIS
- Maintaining employee files
- Administering employee pension and benefit plans
- Maintaining and creating electronic forms using Microsoft Sharepoint
- Generating and formatting required reports
- Assisting with other administrative assignments as needed
- Ensuring that deadlines are met with accuracy
- Maintaining work in a highly organized manner
- Providing customer service to employees relating to a wide range of payroll and benefit inquiries
- Communicating with supervisors and employees as required to explain site policies and procedures
- Solving problems in a competent, logical and efficient manner as they arise

**Education and Qualifications**

Requirements of the position:

- Certificate/Diploma with a focus on human resources or business
- One to two years of relevant work experience, or equivalent
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
- Superior multitasking, organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
