The Clinic receptionist is responsible for the client’s first impression when they enter the clinic. Superior customer service skills and a positive friendly attitude are required. You will support our Clinic's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. You will maintain a professional image when answering and directing calls and greeting visitors in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner. The clinic reception is responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day administrative activities for our Clinic by liaising with clients, therapists, contractors, building management, and other health care professionals.

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Greet clients upon arrival and check them in for appointment, including any paperwork required
- Check clients out after their appointments and accept payment
- Schedules new and returning clients for appointments using online booking system
- Helps manage schedule to maximize client appointments.
- Answers incoming client calls and books appointments into online system
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including but not limited to drafting letters and documents, creating reports, copying, filing, faxing, scheduling appointments and mailings.
- Attends all staff meetings. Can be attended remote.
- Assists therapists, personal trainers in maintaining flow of clients and cleanliness of work space and gym
- Social media postings on Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram duties weekly.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- PC literate, including Apple products and Mindbody software are an added bonus
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable to changing procedures and priorities while remaining flexible and responsive to requests
- Must have a proven work record of dependability
- Passion for health and wellness

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-03-04
