**Overview**
Athletic EDG Fitness is looking for knowledgable, enthusiatic and motivated personal trainers to join our team. Athletic EDG is a private facility located in Sherwood Park and welcomes all ages and fitness levels. We offer our trainers the opportunity to set flexible hours and will provide ongoing support as you work to grow your business.

We are a fully equipped facility complete with a large turf surface allowing for both individual and group/team training sessions. The space is wheelchair accessible, and bar and towel service are included. We provide the opportunity to grow your business as trainers and have the flexibility to work off an hourly basis or pay a monthly rent.

**Duties**
- Complete client intakes, assessments and testing as required.
- Create programs for individual, group classes and team training.
- Maintain adequate client records and hours worked.
- Provide client updates/progress reports.
- Collaborate with clients and trainers to create a positive, supportive and welcoming environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe gym environment.
- Assist with team training.
- Preceptor practicum students (as required)

**Requirements**:

- One-year personal training experience (new graduates will be considered).
- Nationally recognized personal training certification preferred.
- Certified Personal Trainer, Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Science Kinesiology required.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to critically think and problem solve.
- Ability to create and implement individual and group training plans.
- Reliable, professional, engaging and motivated.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
