Jay Carter Roofing & Sheet Metal is looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for handling our ongoing and future projects. You will be working closely with the Operations Manager and Crew Leaders to ensure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in construction project management and the ability to lead teams of various sizes and skillsets. Previous experience in residential or commercial roofing project management role is an advantage.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing projects from conception to completion
- Scheduling crews and equipment for jobs
- Pre and Post Job Inspections
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
Requirements for the position:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a management position from a roofing company or related field
- Valid Driver’s license with own transportation
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Budget management experience
- Competency with G-mail Suite and the latest technology
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport
