We are a wholesaler of Building Materials with Dealer Stores that specialize in hard-to-source interior and exterior home finishing products including flooring, doors, mouldings and specialty wood products. Our business model is also very different than most of our competitors as most of our Dealer locations are independently locally-owned and operated. The success of Windsor Plywood over the 50 years has not relied on marketing but we begin to see that changing for our Industry moving forward. We have 62 stores across Western Canada, Montana and Washington State.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

The Maintenance role is critical to the successful operation of Windsor Plywood Head Office & Distribution Center. The Distribution Center is connected to Head Office administrative building on a facility that covers nearly 10 acres. The role requires day-to-day and project related tasks including the coordination of 3rd party contractors that perform routine servicing onsite. The position requires regular interaction with both yard and office employees during the course of the day as jobs are completed throughout the facility both inside and outside.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain top levels of organizational standards for the work-shop.
- Ensure tools and equipment are in a clean, presentable & safe-to-operate manner
- Perform maintenance and light-duty repairs
- Perform minor carpentry jobs and assemble furniture
- Pressure washing, drywall repair and painting
- Assist tradespeople with site orientation and site cleanup
- Yard cleanup, shoveling snow, cleaning catch basins
- Taking items to recycling depot
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Perform simple repairs on appliances, machines, and equipment
- Assist with the relocation, of office workspaces

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Use of personal vehicle for small pickups and errands
- Use of personal mobile phone for phone calls and text messages
- Company provided tools
- Prior experience with handy work
- Experience with hardware, tools and small repairs
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems
- Well organized and attention to detail
- Permanent resident of Canada with active Driver’s License

**GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
