**About the Opportunity**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an **Account Manager** at our head office in Richmond, BC. The Account Manager is the primary point of contact responsible for developing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships at various levels within an organization amongst a wide range of clientele in a geographic territory. The focus of this position is to meet or exceed sales targets predominantly over the phone and web-based selling, perform basic account management responsibilities and participate at trade shows and regional conferences as needed. This is an activity-based position, with a focus on helping client’s and prospects define their software needs, developing strong relationships, providing professional service, and completing a full sales cycle. _NOTE: This is a hybrid role where the incumbent will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office._

In this role, you will be expected to:

- Meet/exceed sales targets defined for your individual territory. Manage and submit accurate sales forecasts to management;
- Achieve assigned revenue targets. Drive targeted results within the territory;
- Generate business through existing and new customer channels;
- Initiate sales & marketing activities within the region; leveraging Regional Marketing Campaigns provided;
- Provide or coordinate pre
- and post-sales support for customers and partners including leveraging shared resources;
- Contribute to marketing research and promotional activities for our products and services;
- Assist with management of partners and/or client events on a regional basis;
- Promote Transoft products and services to current customers and prospects, demonstrating how Transoft’s products and services provide value to users;
- Engage with partners and customers on all aspects of the sales cycle, from quotation to close;
- Ensure Maintenance and Subscriptions Contracts are renewed prior to expiration. Identify opportunities to upsell into allocated accounts;
- Follow-up on all incoming leads within your territory. Identify and create account profiles within the CRM database of all prospects and clients you are prospecting into;
- Generate new leads by inviting current customers and prospects to web-based product demonstrations;
- Keep current customers within your region updated with the latest information on Transoft’s products and services;
- Attend trade shows, conferences and meetings that provide face-to-face opportunities to promote Transoft’s products if requested by the team;
- Work cross organizationally as part of regional sales and services team.

**About You**:

- You are an expert at prospecting, negotiating and closing complex sales;
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or above; Engineering industry or CAD familiarity a bonus;
- You must have the ability to develop relationships in competitive markets;
- You prioritize work and time management for effective sales and results;
- You are a self-starter and team player able to work effectively with mínimal direct supervision and collaborate when needed;
- You are able to work effectively under stress with ability to adapt and thrive in a continually changing and competitive environment;
- You have strong organizational skills that includes being detail-oriented;
- You have strong technical aptitude to convey product benefits to a technical audience;
- You have excellent command of English and other languages (French or Spanish) are an asset;
- You are customer-oriented with good communication and excellent business acumen;
- You have expert computer skills with a strong focus on Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- You are able to travel when required.
