**The Accounting Associate, performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department with duties that may include**:

- Making daily cheques or cash deposits.
- Maintaining accounts receivable records to ensure the accounts are up to date and that payment and credits are accurately applied.
- Researching and resolving any account discrepancies. Cooperate and support other departments to resolve customers’ billing and payment issues.
- Preparing analytical analysis in accounts receivable for the management to understand the collection efforts better.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, EFT set up, preparing invoices, filing paperwork, and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Time management skills and being able to finish tasks under tight deadlines.
- Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Experienced with QuickBooks is preferred
- Communicating with customers and sales representatives to set up customer accounts and profiles including record, update and maintain customer accounts information
- Be available and accept customer overflow calls daily.
