**Who we are**:
**Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following**:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision,
mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives, with a strong
customer focused approach
- To come to work with a positive, professional attitude and be dependable for all shifts
- To provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the consumer
- Fill orders, receive freight, deliver, and unload product, and perform inventory counts
- Build positive relationships with the yard crew, desk, and leadership teams
- To keep aisles, yard, and stockpiles neat and free of obstruction
- Perform customer carry out service and product assembly as assigned
- Complete required paperwork based on department standards
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Practice and maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise
- Perform other duties as assigned in all areas of the Home Centre

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service and:
- You have a grade 12; previous work experience in a Home Centre retail location or building
materials industry would be an asset
- You must possess sufficient knowledge and experience of Lumber and Building Materials
to effectively operate in all areas of the location
- You must be strongly service oriented and motivated, and capable of serving and assisting
customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the
work that you do
- You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum
amount of supervision
- You have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and must be willing to obtain forklift certification
- Must have a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
- You must have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements including heavy lifting and carrying
