Mission Mart is a thrift store, largely staffed by volunteers, ensuring higher net profit margin, to support the everyday work of Souls Harbour Rescue Mission — providing food, clothing, shelter, recovery, prison outreach, and the Gospel Message.

**Qualifications**:

- Must show an interest in social entrepreneurship - a business that supports charity
- Love for people
- Good communicator
- Willing to delegate by providing instruction and training
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Hard working & flexible: able to deal with changing duties
- Team player - able to work within a mixed staff and volunteer team

**Expected Results**:
**Objectives**:

- Fill in volunteer gaps for various positions
- Maintain a welcoming store environment for shoppers, volunteers and donors

**Specific Duties**:

- Assist Managers with daily operations - receiving, sorting, merchandising and cash
- Help ensure all areas of the store are clean, clear and meet safety standards
- Communicate on an ongoing basis with volunteers and customers to gain community support and to solicit feedback to improve store activities
- Create a positive, uplifting environment for customers, volunteers and donors
- Be familiar with the volunteer handbook policies and procedures
- Support the needs of the Mission
