**Responsibilities**:

- Unloading and loading event decor items from the delivery vehicle
- Setting up and arranging decor items, such as chairs, tables, linens, lighting, floral arrangements, and other decorative elements, according to the event layout and plan
- Assembling and disassembling of backdrops, arches, and other decor structures
- Handling delicate decor items, such as glassware, vases, and ornaments, with care to avoid damage
- Working with other event vendors and suppliers to ensure a smooth event setup and take-down process
- Taking down decor items and packing them up in an organized and secure manner for transport back to the warehouse or storage facility
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area throughout the set-up and take-down process
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment

**Requirements**:

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy decor items, furniture, and equipment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from a supervisor
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with event vendors and suppliers
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from event locations is an asset
- Prior experience in event or wedding decor set-up and take-down is an asset

**Job Types**: Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $15.65-$18.00 per hour
