**Jr Project Manager/Project Manager - Construction**

**WHO WE ARE**:
We are a fully incorporated medium-sized Design + Build company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, run by a dynamic wife + husband team. We work on high-end homes and condos, reimagining spaces and creating custom builds and full-scale renovations for our clients.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
**Key Attributes**:

- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in residential and/or commercial projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
- Experience managing trades, coordinating on-site activities, and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Comfortable with technology, including project management tools like Slack and ClickUp. If you are not tech savvy, I am sorry but please do not apply We will be testing for competence
- Must have a valid BC Driver's License and a reliable vehicle (truck preferred). Experience with towing a trailer is a bonus.
- Excellent communication skills, with perfect English
- Strong physical condition and stamina.

**DUTIES**:

- Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and quality control.
- Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform site reviews and manage equipment and material allocations.
- Support site contract management and handle vendor inquiries.
- Create and manage detailed construction timelines, ensuring adherence to budget and scope.
- Ensure compliance with building and safety codes through regular site inspections.
- Handle procurement tasks, including obtaining the best quotes from suppliers and issuing Purchase Orders.
- Assist with obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Prepare and manage deficiency lists prior to project completion, ensuring timely rectification.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
