Position Summary:
As the Gordon Food Service supplier of smallwares, United is innovating in this space and looking for a driven, entrepreneurial and analytical Multi-Unit Coordinator. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Multi-Unit Coordinator is responsible for coordinating multi-unit account requirements. This position will liaise with corporate head offices, vendors, customer care, and Account Managers and would be required to be onsite at the office. This role requires well-honed skills in customer management, follow up, as well as a passion and vision to be part of the company’s long-term growth. Approximately Spring 2023, your position of Order Selector will transition to our new location at 1240 Ormont Drive, North York, ON, M9L2V4.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Ensure the profitability of the company by efficiently maintaining customer contracts, providing administration and logistics support and multi-unit team support.
- Managing customer needs, product inventories, logistics reporting and maintaining distribution contracts for the Multi-Unit customer.
- Working with the National Multi-Unit Account Managers, the coordinator will provide flawless customer service to their accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing United customers and accounts. Regular customer communication activity and follow up.
- Ability to answer customer questions regarding the technical information, pricing, delivery and order status information
- Provide value to customers and improve customer perception of United as an expert in both the Restaurant Equipment and smallwares category.
- Sourcing products and working with vendors to establish item lead times in order to effectively communicate availability with the customer and manage expectations while improving service levels.
- Collaboratively work with internal departments.
- Respectfully and capably represent the best interests of United Restaurant Supplies in all internal and external dealings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Two years previous food service industry as a customer care representative or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline preferred, or other jobs related or equivalent business experience.
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Working knowledge and prior experience using the Auto Quotes program
- Effective communication in an open and direct manner; conveys information clearly and concisely, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong listening skills - understand and reflect accurately on the message.
- Solid administrative skills - accurate with information and transactions.
- Team player; actively participates to create and execute on team goals.
