The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for a **Security Training Manager**

**OVERVIEW**

Reporting to the Director of Security, Operations, the Security Training Manager will be responsible for recruitment initiatives (in collaboration with TBJ’s People Operations team), hiring, onboarding, and training for the part-time and full-time Security Team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Update, enhance and develop training presentations and on-line training for Security Awareness, Alcohol Management and Security Guard Training Materials
- Develop and manage our Red Team Testing/Secret Shoppers to test training gaps and create an action plan to correct.
- Attend Job Fairs, community colleges and other events to promote security roles
- Conduct in-person security training and practical sessions for new hires, returning staff, supervisors and refresher sessions throughout the season
- Work closely with TBJ’s People Operations department on the security industry specific recruitment strategies to attract Security Guards
- Complete Weekly Recruitment report for Security Leadership team
- Work with supervisors to re-train staff with performance gaps
- Other administrative and supervisory duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in either Business Administration, Human Resources, Security or Police Foundations is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in training (adult learning) and recruitment
- Experience building out on-line training platforms
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to multi-task and meet required deadlines
- A team player who will establish and maintain strong relationships with internal departments
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Confident and effective communication skills - interpersonal, written, and verbal
- Skilled in developing, coordinating and leading training sessions
- Knowledge of the game of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays is considered an asset
- Must be able to work all Baseball Games, Concerts and Events
