Truck Repair Shop Coordinator

Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for trucks and a knack for coordinating repair operations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced **Shop Coordinator** to join our team.
This is a full-time, permanent position, **Monday to Thursday, 12:30pm to 11:00pm**.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
**Details**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and technicians, ensuring efficient communication throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate and schedule repair operations, making estimates and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately.
- Monitor repair progress to ensure repairs are completed on time and to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repair activities including work performed, parts used, and costs incurred.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customers concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies and best practices related to truck repairs.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification or training in automotive or truck repairs an asset.
- Proven experience in truck repair coordination or a related role, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of truck repair operations, including diagnosing and coordinating repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with repair management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Standing and some moderate to heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds).
