With an established 33 years in our location at Elgin Centre, we are an award-winning, boutique travel agency in St Thomas Ontario specializing in active travel, family getaways, luxury vacations, cruising and destination weddings.

We're looking for an enthusiastic travel & event planner assistant to produce events from conception through to completion. Event coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service to guests while confirming their travel as well as assist with wedding arrangements.

**DUTIES INCLUDE**
- Data entry (Client profiles in accounting system)
- Assisting with new client intake processes by following procedure
- Handle client phone inquiries and keep detailed notes on the file
- Offer travel insurance to all guests and ensure waiver is signed
- Client Invoicing
- Create and update Excel rooming lists
- Tracking RSVP lists & send rooming lists to wedding couples
- Research and information retrieval from multiple sources
- Creating and maintaining checklists
- Book stopover hotels, group airport transportation and group excursions
- Attend new client meetings and assist with notes
- Assist with wedding day timelines and update review sheets
- Assembly of new bride boxes, airport bags, mail out luggage tags
- Facebook and Instagram content creation
- Direct mail campaigns
- Assist and prepare for bridal show and/or marketing events
- Attend webinars, conferences and other educational programs as necessary to learn product and keep updated on changes.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- TICO license
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Written & Oral Communication Skills
- Detail Oriented & Accurate
- Quick Learner
- Customer Service Minded

**BONUS SKILLS**
- Clientbase Travel Accounting
- Familiarity with Project Management Systems

**REMUNERATION & HOURS**
- Position: Full Time, 40hrs per week
- Wage: Hourly plus monthly commission share bonus
