Are you looking for an exciting new role in Real Estate? We are looking for a Real Estate Advisor who is responsible for executing our Property Management strategy and co-managing our Real Estate database. In this role, you will also prepare annual Property Management plans (Lease renewals and property sales), steward/monitor/benchmark third-party Lease Administration, handle the Negotiation and Property Management Relationships and as well as Lease renewals on specific Expense and Revenue Leases.
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree, preferably Business
- 5 years of related work experience in understanding of property/lease management markets and practices across Canada
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with strong working knowledge of Excel
- Working knowledge of database software (SAP S4/HANA), Retail Terminal Module (RTM),Livelink and the Real Estate database
- Real Estate experience and understanding of lease agreements
- Fluency in French and English language
Responsibilities:
- Manage portfolio of operating and non-operating leases in collaboration with third party real-estate service provider
- Negotiate lease renewals on properties managed directly by Suncor
- Responsible for property management, including reconciliation of payments in SAP REFX
- Co-manage the national real estate database (inputs, updates, performance metrics, etc.) with the other Real Estate Advisor
- Responsible for developing Lease and Property Sale Decision Support Packages for AFE approvals
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and develop positive relationships (Management, Site Remediation Advisors, Network Planning Advisors, SBDA’s, Legal, Accounting, Credit, Taxation, Retail and Wholesale Operations, Brokers, municipalities etc.) to achieve the business unit’s objectives
Location and Other Key Details:
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- You will work out of our Oakville office, located at 3275 Rebecca Street
