Our seasoned team of engineers, project managers and other specialists also put their energy into the construction of wind farms and to the benefit of hydroelectric projects such as dams, power stations, tunnels and dikes. Reporting to the Project Manager the responsibilities of the Field/Project Coordinator include:

- Read technical and administrative project specifications;
- Inspect work daily to ensure that it meets the specified standards;
- Inform Project Manager of project development and discuss methods planned with site management;
- Order critical material with suppliers in collaboration with the Superintendent;
- Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for purposes of productivity analysis and accurate job cost forecasting;
- Prepare daily reports as related to the crew, progress and issues;
- Provide document control for correspondence, submittals, RFI’s, NCR, etc.;
- Assist in the preparation of final records for the project, including as-builts;
- Organize and participate in various meetings;
- Establish and keep necessary communications between suppliers, sub-contractors, professionals and client;
- Assist in carrying out a variety of field duties at the job site related to project.

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering program or similar, or a combination of technical training and/or related experience; 2-5 years of industry experience; Experience in contracting industry (heavy civil preferred); Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings; Experience with scheduling and planning site activities; Excellent command of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, etc. Cost analysis, control, and reporting; Contracts - Commercial knowledge; Bilingual (an asset), but proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required.
