We are currently seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Attendant to join our team who will contribute to overall success of the company by providing top level services for our staff. You will need to have strong attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines. This position will be offered Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 2:00pm. Tentative start date for position is May, 2023.

**What You Will Do**:

- Restock countertop food from supply room, such as coffee supplies, breakfast foods, snacks, and water
- Prepare salad bar daily including rinsing, peeling, slicing, and dicing fruits and vegetables
- Wrap, date - label, and store food items
- Prepare lunch soups daily by placing in buffet warmer
- Comply with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures
- Organize pantry and storage areas while monitoring inventory of food and cafeteria supply stock and place orders through companies preferred vendors
- Receive food orders and stock shelves
- Pick up foods or supplies from vendors that do not deliver
- Clean up after lunch service by wiping all surfaces in cafeteria including but not limited to counters, lunchroom tables, and buffet
- Clean up leftover foods and clean the buffet bar for the next day
- Run/Empty Dishwasher as necessary
- Clean fridge weekly of old food
- Deep clean fridge, stove, and microwave weekly
- Remove garbage after daily lunch service

**You Will Bring**:

- Minimum one (1) year experience in food preparation
- successful completion of Food Handler Course with Food Handler Certificate
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to think analytically, prioritize and execute tasks within deadline
- Physical capabilities to perform duties of the position including heavy lifting, walking and standing during shifts;
- Must have a class 5 driver’s license and access to vehicle to be able to commute to run errands
