Zagimē Anishinabēk is a progressive First Nations government, located around 22 KM Northeast of Grenfell Town in Saskatchewan.

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**:Under the direct supervision of the Governance Manager, direction of the Chief and Council and Executive Direction, the Clerk of the Council is responsible for planning, assisting procedures, and working with Council of Zagimē.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain accurate permanent record of meeting minutes, a chronology of Council resolutions and decisions, communications of the resolutions and decisions
- Assisting with the coordination of meeting logistics including Council travel expenses and arranging of facilities and other meeting resources.
- Correspond with Directors, partner organizations and external resources to assist in maintaining consistent Council communication.
- Assist in preparingreports, proposals, correspondence, and other documentation.
- Always maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Skill and knowledge usually attained by successful completion of High School and post-secondary courses, training, and certification in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of skill, knowledge, and experience.
- Ability to take minutes, audio typing preferred strong typing skills is a necessity.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
- Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule: extended hours and occasional weekends may be required.
- Travel is required including out of province.
- Strong computer skills, such as Office Suite and other communication technologies.
- Must provide a criminal record check upon acceptance.
- Must submit a pre-employment drug screening prior to commencement of employment.
- Knowledge of First Nation culture and traditions will be an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
