Construction Lead Hand

As a Lead Hand, you will oversee job site operations, ensure projects are completed on schedule, and maintain the highest level of craftsmanship. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced carpenter with strong leadership skills and a passion for construction.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and direct labourers and apprentices on various projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure project goals are met.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of carpentry experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead hand role preferred.
- Red Seal endorsement is not required, but is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
