**Development Coordinator**

Based in Toronto, the Development Coordinator will report to the Manager, Development on and will work extensively with all members of QuadReal’s eastern Canadian development team, with projects in Ontario. The Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting, in the day-to-day management of all aspects of the development program, with a primary focus on all aspects of the mixed-use and residential development program. The Development Coordinator will require a strong attention to detail and the ability to organize, prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment towards appropriately bringing various tasks to completion.

**As **a Development Coordinator** You Will**:

- Provide administrative support as required to the Development team to assist with various projects and assignments: prepare correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, power-point presentations and reports frequently of a confidential, strategic, and/or specialized nature.
- Coordinate and attend internal and external project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute.
- Develop and maintain project files - Administration of project correspondence, filing, record keeping, etc.; Prepare and facilitate Requests for Proposals as required for project specific tasks;
- Liaise with accounting on invoices, tracking and processing internal fee requests;
- Record, code and review incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness. Manage and actively track the internal invoice approval process and then distribute to the development accountant. Follow-up on cheque requisitions.
- Review consultant and contractor/supplier proposals and prepare consultant and contractor/supplier agreements in conjunction with the Development lead or Development Managers.
- Manage tracking of various agreements and insurance requirements.
- Assist to manage, track and recover Letters of Credits (LC) held by government agencies and utility companies.

***Your Background**:

- 3 years of related project administration experience within a development or construction company environment.
- Post-Secondary Undergraduate Degree in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business, or related field.
- General understanding of the real estate development and construction process. Specific knowledge with mixed-use assets and working in Greater Toronto Area is preferred.
- General understanding of contract language and insurance requirements to facilitate coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Strong proficiency working in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Additional knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is preferred.
