**Job Summary**:
The Supervisor provides direction and support to the Moving Ahead Program (MAP) staff and oversees their work with immigrant and refugee adults to enhance successful settlement in the community. The Supervisor oversees all operations, including program management, administration, creating/managing budgets, client service, supervision to all MAP staff, and program development and delivery.

**Your Role**:
**Archway’s Supervisor with the Moving Ahead Program (MAP) contributes by**:

- Managing and supervising staff, including recruiting, screening, interviewing and selection, program specific orientation, identification of training required, skills development, providing instruction, and performance check-ins, feedback sessions, and evaluations.
- Providing direction and guidance in the development and updating of MAP documentation to support staff and program participants.
- Working with MAP staff to determine and assess client eligibility for the Program according to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) eligibility requirements and meeting the complexity, multiplicity, and severity of the barriers faced by potential participants, before acceptance to the program.
- Managing overall program administration including managing and working with the Program budget, including tracking spending allocations within funder constraints, reporting budgetary data in databases and reports, and preparing and providing invoicing information to Accounting on a regular basis.
- Gathering and compiling statistical data from staff to analyze gaps, trends, commonalities, demographics, and Program needs based on the data input.
- Preparing and writing quarterly and annual reports for IRCC and Archway, identifying trends, program challenges, and updates on program targets.

This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership and supervisory skills, capable of leading a team to meet program objectives and deliverables. The incumbent will excel in planning and organizing, program development, and responding to last minute urgent situations as they arise. The work entails collaborative planning with the MAP staff, client assessments according to IRCC requirements, and effective program administration, including budget management which are all crucial to the ensuring the success of the program.

**Our Offer**
- Wage: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
- A permanent, full-time at 35 hours per week, availability Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Some weekend work will be required.

**Getting an Interview - you will be considered if you have**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services or related field, OR a combination of education and/or experience.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License, satisfactory driver’s record.
- Experience in a leadership role and program coordination.
- Experience working through resettlement needs and issues experienced by multi-barrier immigrants and refugees.

- Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and ability to de-escalate.
- Knowledge of community-based programs and international perspectives that support the multicultural newcomer to Canada.
- Strong verbal, written, and active listening communication skills, including cross-cultural awareness; able to communicate clearly and respectfully with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Well-developed budgeting skills, able to create and manage a program budget efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to balance and manage competing projects and priorities.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to create reports, budgets, presentations, and communication with staff and colleagues.
- This position includes outreach, meetings, and appointments off-site in the Fraser Valley, requiring access to a reliable vehicle, and demands the ability to effectively switch tasks due to a high degree of distractions and competing priorities.
