**Defined Contribution (DC) Delegated Sales Leader**
**What can you expect?**
- As the DC Delegated Sales Leader, you will report to the Canadian leader of Defined Contribution and Financial Wellness
- You will be an integral member responsible for building a sales pipeline and closing sales opportunities specific to the Mercer Defined Contribution Delegated program

**We will count on you to**:
- Generate revenue through selling Mercer’s Delegated Solution to employers for their defined contribution pension plans and savings plans (such as RRSP, DPSP or TFSA), and proactively identifying opportunities to maximize cross opco selling based on client needs
- Promote and build a sales pipeline to target employers in the mid to large end of the Canadian market within a pre-defined territory
- Maintain personal sales goals and targets while managing and growing a strategic portfolio of national or international complex accounts within a specialized area of focus
- Develop an expansion strategy and identify sales priorities by gaining insight on market developments, new or improved internal offerings, specific account developments, and through professional networks
- Assume ownership of relationships with large high-yield accounts and ensure mutual relationship satisfaction by delivering at or above expectations
- Coordinate responses to request for proposals; develop and effectively conduct sales presentations for both new and high-risk accounts to convey the business value of the service and/or product offerings accurately and successfully
- Complete the sales process from prospect identification and pricing to the completion of final account contracts, leveraging knowledge on historical best-practices and advanced product and market awareness to negotiate a deal that significantly benefits the both the Business and the account
- Work closely with the internal delegated solutions team to promote, educate, and improve the product offering
- Attend, speak, and present at relevant industry conferences; be a contributing member of relevant professional organizations and societies to expand and maintain a large professional network, maintain market exposure, and represent the company and its offerings
**What you need to have**:
- 5+ years of sales experience in a group retirement space and/or consulting firm
- Experience in managing client relationships
- Strong sales, financial, and business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, and working knowledge of the MS Office suite
