**Quality Control Technician** (Electromechanical specialization)

**Your impact as a Quality Control Technician**:

- Perform various quality control tests for the manufacturing process to ensure consistency and quality
- Prepare testing reports for review and approval
- Ensure that complaints are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure that inspection/quality tools are maintained and periodically calibrated if needed
- Investigate quality issues and establish corrective action and non-conformance reports to identify the root cause, follow up on any action items until completion
- Work with cross-functional teams to assist the improvement and development of SOPs
- Support development of appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and report the monthly results to the upper management
- Maintains and enforces the company’s quality assurance programs
- Contribute to Lean and Continuous Improvement activities
- Perform soldering and rework as required
- Undertake special projects as required or other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Mandatory:_
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or construction environment
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing documentation and schematics
- Experience in developing SOPs, work instructions and drafting technical reports
- Capable of reading engineering drawings, reviewing calculations, analyzing, specifications and codes
- Strong computer skills (e.g. MS Office Suite), analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, multitasking and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude who excels in a fast-paced environment, commits to continuous improvement and embraces change
- Nice to have:_
- Certificate or training in IPC 7711/7721/IPC-A-610
- Software skills: Python (PCB testing), c++, PLC control system knowledge
- Experience building test jigs
- 2 years of experience with high voltage product testing

**Training We Provide**:

- Dangerous Goods handling procedures
- Quality control procedures
- Inventory control procedures

**Location**:

- This is a role working out of our Vancouver, BC office full-time
- Regular work hours for this position is 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday

**Total Compensation and Perks**
- Performance bonus of up to 15% of base pay
- 2 weeks of vacation
