Role Details

- When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community on event day. You can choose a specific role and shift (s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.

- Description

- Raffle ticket sellers will patrol an assigned section of the room during the cocktail reception and an assigned section of the room during dinner to sell Raffle tickets to guests.

- Why we need you

- Sell Raffle tickets to guests primarily during the cocktail reception and in the room during dinner. (Training will be provided)

- What we're looking for
- Excellent customer service skills and a desire to help ensure an excellent experience for guests.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Warm, friendly and professional demeanour.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Ability to move quickly.
- Physical ability to move objects as required.
Our Investment

- Training will be provided to ensure all Raffle ticket sellers know how to use the Moneris machines.

- Your commitment
- This is a one day commitment
- Must be available to volunteer for a minimum 6 hour shift
