**What can I expect to do in this role?**: As a Database Administrator, you will:

- design, implement, and manage an Oracle Data Masking and Sub-setting process that will be used for PeopleSoft instance refreshes and replication
- support production and development systems to ensure system integrity and optimal performance levels
- support critical business operational requirements for current/future database systems, installations, maintenance, optimization, trouble shooting, and back-up and recovery services
- research, evaluate, and recommend innovative solutions for production enhancements and improvements
- perform daily administration functions and change management in support of IT operations

**How do I qualify?**:
**Technical Knowledge**:

- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and scalable database design
- Experience of providing database services within an Azure off premise cloud environment would be a definite asset
- You have knowledge of technical performance and monitoring software to ensure database integrity and performance standards are met

**Communication, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**:

- You can lead assessments and provide recommendations to senior management and clients
- You can conduct research to provide various design options
- You are able to analyze emerging trends to provide suggestions and solutions
- You have strong communication and consultation skills to provide recommendations to senior management and clients
- You have the ability to present options and proposals to senior management
