Oreflow Supervisor

**Position Overview**
- Responsible and held accountable for leading and directing the assigned crew.
- Manage and provide efficient ordering of mining material, related tools and equipment.
- Manage delivery of MTCE and mining materials in a formal manner to help reduce cost, waste and damage.
- Manage ore re handling in the safest cost effective manner.
- Maintain and promote a high housekeeping standard and for all areas of responsibility.
- Work towards Completion of assigned tasks on time and on budget.
- Supervise the business unit’s Ore Flow activities by optimizing material, labour and equipment use to achieve or exceed quality and production targets as well as financial objectives (cost control and reduction).
- Supervise, direct and coach employees to ensure their maximum performance, identify and meet training needs pertaining to their job, health and safety and the environment.
- Work with all supervisors to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
- Perform all shift administrative duties (reports, time sheets, accidents, performance, training, etc.).
- Review production, quality control, maintenance, down time and statistical reports and create work orders to optimally plan own activities.
- Identify, recommend and/or implement changes designed to improve production procedures, equipment performance, working conditions and product quality to maximize the unit’s efficiency.
- Ensure employees comply with company with Company rules, policies, programs and procedures and health, safety and environmental legislation

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years underground experience
- Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of shafts, hoisting and oreflow systems
- Supervisory experience in an underground environment
- Supervisory common core
