West Park Healthcare Centre helps patients get their lives back by through the provision of specialized rehabilitation and complex continuing care services and a continuum of inpatient, outpatient and outreach care and treatment. West Park’s 27-acre site is being transformed into an integrated campus of care, including a new hospital and additional community based services focused on seniors and people living with disabilities.

**Job Overview**:
The HRA provides Tier 2 support to employees and managers as part of the HR Operations Team.

**Accountabilities**:

- Provide support to Human Resources teams as part of the HR Operations team.
- Validate and enter data into Empath.
- Provide Tier 2 support to employees and managers.
- Process employee events.
- Provide support and advice on human resources practices, programs and procedures.
- Maintain employee and HR records.
- Maintain tools and HR documentation.
- Provide superior customer service to Managers and Employees.
- Provide support to new employee orientation.
- Manage employee onboarding.
- Run reports.
- Provide support for special projects.
- Provide support to all functional areas of Human Resources.
- Provide back up to HR Clerk.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in business or human resources required
- Working towards Certificate/Diploma in Human Resources Management preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience providing administrative support to Human Resources professionals or managers, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Advanced keyboarding skills (60 wpm)
- Experience with Crystal Reports, MS Access, and HRIS systems preferred
- Experience with Taleo an asset.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle situations in professional manner and maintain information confidential
- Ability to function independently, take initiative and direction
- Previous administrative experience in a human resources environment considered an asset
