Position: Scaffold Regional Manager
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Overview:
As the Scaffold Regional Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and operational oversight to our scaffold department in the Edmonton region. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive industry knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage multiple aspects of the scaffold business, including department heads, estimating, operations, project management, and yard management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
- Provide strong leadership to the scaffold department, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.
- Supervise and support department heads, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
2. Estimating:
- Oversee the estimating process to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to review project specifications, scope of work, and project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies.
3. Operations:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
4. Project Management:
- Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project delivery, on time and within budget.
- Provide support and guidance on project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Address project-related issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
5. Yard Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the yard, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Implement best practices for yard organization and workflow optimization.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment for yard staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the scaffold industry.
- In-depth knowledge of scaffold systems, techniques, and safety standards.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within the Alberta region as needed.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Pay: $140,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
