YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience as a construction worker preferred
- WHIS Training
- Experience in operating equipment such as: electric battery-operated saws, drills, generators, compactors, grinders, etc.
- Experience in using tools such as: hammers, tape measures, levels, squares, knives and staplers, etc.
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Able to work in a team
- Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
- Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
- Comfortable working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations and at different heights.

YOU PUT ON YOUR HARD HAT TO
- Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner
- Comply with responsibilities as laid out in the Employee Code of Conduct Policy and as explained in Site Health and Safety rules/procedures
- Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
- Lift heavy loads up to 70lbs and navigate construction jobsite terrain
- Dig and back-fill pits, trenches and foundations
- Operate machinery, including construction vehicles
- Identify utility lines
- Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
- Provide labour support as needed for specialty framing crew/trades
- Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
- Loading, unloading and delivery of materials
- Erect and break up scaffolding, ramps etc. with attention to safety
- Use Equipment to break old forms and structures
- Level out grounds using rakes and sod lots to match finish grades
- Contribute to improving the business, protecting and enhancing the reputation of the company, by putting forward new ideas

Arrive on-time with all safety equipment needed - Proper PPE & CSA approved hard hats, boots and safety glasses
Track your hours and duties on jobs sites with accuracy - submitted Mondays of a pay-week
Abide and uphold all code of conduct and safety standards - 0 violations
Carry out requested tasks to completion within Prominent standards
Build a quality frame for straight, square and true home

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
