**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a
**Technician I- Occupational Hygiene/Environment **to join our
**Glencore**
**Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.**

The position will be based at Strathcona Complex in Onaping, Ontario.

This is a Casual position.

**Duties and Accountabilities**:
Reporting to the Site Rehabilitation Lead, the Technician I- Occupational Hygiene/Environment anticipates, recognizes, evaluates, and recommends control for all environmental workplace hazards that may affect the health of the workforce and the external environment.

**Education**

**Skills**

Requires thorough knowledge of the EPA, OWRA, OHSA, WHMIS, and appropriate federal environmental statutes, ISO 14001 and associated environmental management systems. Must be able to operate all monitoring equipment. Must possess exceptional organizational skills, presentation skills, and writing skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills; requires proficiency in Microsoft office. Must possess a valid drivers license. First-Aid Training is viewed as an asset.
