The Customs Operations Supervisor will support Mohawk Global Canada in providing clients with expedited customs brokerage and transportation services. This position requires regular interfacing with clients and trade partners to ensure a high level of performance and compliance in the movement of goods through the supply chain. The Customs Operations Supervisor must possess the ability and desire to lead and support team members, resolve complex shipments, and other aspects of supervisory management.
**Tasks/Responsibilities**:
- Processing of customs entries including release, acquittal, and invoicing for all modes of transport
- Provide excellent client service to internal and external customers
- Provide guidance to team members on customs regulations and clearance processes
- Oversee billing activity to ensure invoices are generated timely and accurately
- Assist with updating and maintaining client profiles and tariff databases
- Prepare client SOP’s
- Prepare post-entry adjustments for refunds and amends
- Participate in client meetings and business reviews
- Arrange final mile delivery
- Processing of CLVS entries
- Completing additional duties as assigned
**Desired Experience and Skills**:
- 10+ years of customs brokerage experience
- Supervisory experience
- CCS Designation
- Extensive knowledge of import and customs regulations
- Experience with PGA’s (Participating Government Agencies)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritize tasks
This position will be based out of our Mississauga office, with the option for a remote/hybrid work environment.
Compensation package includes a competitive salary, bonus plan, benefits, and RRSP match.
