Reports to the Housing Choice Program Manager. In this role the Team Lead is responsible for supervising, supporting and directing Support Workers at Sandy’s Place. This position includes working in collaboration with other Housing Program Managers and Assistant Manager/Team Leads. In addition, the Team Lead works closely with Housing workers and other external agencies if required to ensure a plethora of cohesive services for residents.

**Position Responsibilities**- Maintain and instill BSCS core values within the program and team through policy and practice.
- Collaborate with other staff and departments within the agency to ensure there is appropriate coordination among programs that support residents.
- Work alongside the Housing Choice Program Manager to ensure all contractual obligations and practice standards are met.
- Support the team with intakes and assessment to ensure required documentation is collected and completed.
- Maintain, delegate, and balance the teams’ responsibilities and privileges.
- Attend case conferences to ensure full understanding of the program for both participants and employees.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external partners, and community resources.
- Assist in monitoring tenancy and ensure residents are provided person-centred support to create stability and successful graduation is achieved.
- Assist in onboarding, training, and collaboration with new and current employees.
- Assist in monthly supervisions and performance plans.
- Assist with facilitating weekly resident review meetings, weekly and monthly reports, team meetings and team building events.
- Ensure compliance of program and governing body are adhered and confidentiality of residents is maintained.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Housing Choice Program Manager.- BSCS is more than a workplace. It is a community where everyone helps and contributes to the whole, and there is an expectation that all employees will take part in events (during the work week and occasionally during weekends and evenings). This

**Qualifications**- Post Secondary Degree in a relevant field and/or at least 1 year work experience and knowledge in inner city housing programs.
- Police Check with the Vulnerable Sector and Child and Youth Intervention Check completed within the past six months
- Valid First Aid certificate or enrolled in a future course
- Experience with and knowledge of Indigenous culture and ceremonies is considered an asset.
