Central Alberta Co-op is hiring a full-time **Agro Manager** at our Agro site in **Lacombe**, Alberta.

**Full-time**: 40 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. This position provides benefits, if you are coming from out of province please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

**Who we are**:
**What you’ll do**:
Reporting to the Agro Division Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and day-to-day execution of the Agro Centre and will:

- Provide operational direction and oversight on implementing programs and policies for the Agro Centre in the areas of brand, customer service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery
- Build strong customer relationships and oversee the execution of sales strategies for the Agro Centre through managing and growing current customers and identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
- Oversee the execution of marketing and merchandising including displays, promotions, and pricing
- Ensure standards are achieved on all safety, environmental, and asset protection policies and procedures and overseeing the safe handling and storage of inventory and equipment for the location
- Prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to pricing, sales margins, expenses, and inventory
- Provide leadership to the Agro Centre team, including recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members

**Qualifications**:

- Retail experience is considered an asset,
- 5+ years of leadership experience required,
- 5+ years of management experience is required,
- Agriculture degree and/or CCA would be an asset or combination of experience and education will be considered,
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
