We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically inclined **Agricultural Technical Specialist** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Serve as the first line of technical support for customers, troubleshooting issues related to JBS equipment, including mechanical, electronic, hydraulic systems, and scale and rate control systems.
- Take a proactive role on the shop floor by providing hands-on troubleshooting of our equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction
- Provide remote assistance for equipment implementation, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Provide on-site support when required to resolve issues
- Provide guidance and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Assist with equipment first startup testing for new units.
- Assist with the setup and calibration of scale on new units off the production line.
- Assist with warranty issues and identify potential larger problems
- Identify and implement improvements on JBS products and procedures
- Learn and understand to operate new JBS systems / components
- Collaborate with the Assembly Shop floor team to gain hands-on knowledge of equipment assembly, setup, and functionality.
- Develop and maintain strong product knowledge to assist in training customers and internal staff on equipment use and best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of technical support interactions and resolutions to improve future service in the JBS Technical Support program
- Participate in ongoing learning and development initiatives to stay current with advancements in agricultural technology.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Previous mechanical experience with Agricultural equipment is preferred
- Experience working with or familiarity with load cells/scales and automatic rate control systems preferred.
- High mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience working with equipment
- Strong understanding of electronics, hydraulics, tractors, and other agricultural machinery.
- Farm experience or familiarity with agricultural operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to handle customer service calls at a wide variety of times
- Ability to diagnose issues both remotely and in person and determine the best course of action to resolve
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience with software and hardware diagnostic utilities pertinent to JBS equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have a professional demeanor and superior customer service skills
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and work under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Valid driver’s license

**Work Environment**
- Working in a production environment on the shop floor
- On site visits can be in a variety of weather conditions both indoors and outdoors
- On site repair work may require climbing under and over equipment and operating a variety of tools
