**The Role**:
Join us as a Training & Communications Manager and be at the forefront of shaping a dynamic learning culture aligned with our business goals. Collaborate closely with departments, balancing in-person training and coaching (60%) and administrative/creative work (40%). Enjoy a hybrid optional role with at least 3 days on-site. The ideal schedule for this position will be Tuesday to Saturday - this is negotiable. Due to varying team member shifts, a flexible start and end time may be required at times depending on training needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations and e-learning on our digital training platform (Learning Management System).
- Facilitate internal training initiatives (including new hire orientation, liquor compliance and food safety)
- Deliver new manager onboarding training and career development plans.
- Work in-venue across all businesses to deliver 1on1 training across various topics to managers and other team members.
- Implement an annual training calendar.
- Work closely with the P&C team and operational directors to monitor performance and identify training opportunities.
- Work closely with operational directors to ensure training and processes are being implemented correctly across all businesses.
- Develop, communicate, and continuously update The Gibbons Way (our comprehensive team guide).
- Communicate and support Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Coordinate external training opportunities (including First Aid, Naloxone, BST and PK’s).
- Evaluate training effectiveness via evaluation methods and identify areas for improvement.
- Other duties as reasonably directed.

**Requirements**:

- A history and passion for hospitality.
- Previous training/leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Creative thinker with a passion for learning and innovation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Process orientated, well organized, and have an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to new technology.

**Salary and Team Perks**:

- $60,000 - $85,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
